[It's cool, in a way. It appeals to her writer brain to have these gaps filled in where otherwise she could only guess -- it makes it all the more authentic, when she can't actually experience it herself (and still be considered "herself". But it isn't a story with a need for consistent worldbuilding. It's Teo's life. Or unlife? It's his reality -- that works.]

I guess...I'm -- kind of glad. Pain sucks, obviously, but it's -- good. That you can feel it and know you're, um. Feeling it. Can you feel...other things? [And that point about hunger...] I know you want me to save -- food for myself. I don't mind.
