[She'd like to say she chose a night with the roar of bad weather on purpose, using it to dodge the chance of running into other people -- and if asked, she'd likely make some joke about it to pass off as truth. In truth, she hates the rain and the way it makes her white clothes stick to her and makes her feel like someone's drenched her in garbage. It doesn't even wash the blood out of her clothes and hair.]
Almost there~ Follow, follow! [Her voice lilts like a song, like she isn't a joyless fuck that killed a man an two hours or so ago and has been walking ever since. The girl behind her makes some kind of noise, but a rumble of thunder makes Lotte unsure whether it was a word or a blubbered sob. It isn't like she cares anyway. Just a little further. Then they can rest.
Neither of them stay in one place if they can help it, but they have ways of reaching each other and a series of safe havens they can fall back on -- hardly more than a rest stop. It's one of those rare occasions she actually reaches out with more than a ridiculous image or gruesome display, and she isn't looking forward to seeing him at all.
Still. He's the only one that comes close to understanding.] Just you and me, and me, and me...
[Lotte sighs and yanks the other girl by the arm up a curb and over to a door that couldn't stand out if it tried. Not her style, since it wasn't pure white and hiding pure white walls and floors inside, but you can only be too picky when you want to be better about staying under the radar. Holding tight, she kicks at the door twice before reaching for the handle. As long as he's arrived already, they don't have a thing to worry about, and if he hasn't? ...The odds of someone that wasn't some useless squatter no one would miss being there were incredibly low.
She opens her mouth to call out a Honey, I'm home~ that would disgust both of them, but only a sigh comes out. She just needs to sit herself and other flesh golem down for a rest.]
Trust him. Okay?
[She doesn't need to turn to see the jerky, tearful nod. She'd listen.]
